Black Lives
Black Lives is the anthology produced from our first-ever George Floyd Short Story Competition, and is a collection of stories where Black people take the main roles. Written by a diverse range of twenty authors from around the globe, their tales cross all genres while tackling issues of race, colourism and identity.
Featuring new work from some of Britain’s most talented Black writers (Yvvette Edwards, A Cupboard Full of Coats and Diriye Osman, Fairtytales for Lost Children) Black Lives also stars many exciting new talents.
All proceeds of the Black Lives anthology will be donated to the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation and copies can be bought from Five Leaves Bookshop.
