Come along to our NWS Members’ Social in our Studio at 25 Hockley on the last Wednesday of every month! Writing can be a lonely business, but our members’ socials aim to change that. Running from 7 until 8.30pm, the informal get-togethers are a great way to meet other NWS members and staff, find out more about the Studio and we’ve got planned for the month ahead, and have a general chinwag about writing. There will be the opportunity for members to read and get feedback on a work-in-progress or a finished piece that they’re proud of in a relaxed, thoughtful and supportive environment. They are free for members and you don’t need to book (just show up!), and you always have the option (but never the obligation) to bring along:

• one non-member friend
• something to drink, alcoholic or otherwise (the Carousel bar is open and all of our members get £1 off drinks, but you can BYOB too)
• something to eat (we provide some small snacks but feel free to bring along something of your own, for yourself or to share)
• something you’ve written or are working on to read to the group, who can provide reactions, encouragement, feedback and critique – you can ask for whatever you need!
