FOREWORD

A very warm welcome to the annual NWS Spring Collection, where we celebrate the power of creativity and expression.

Building upon the success of our previous themes, “the World Outside” and “Freedom,” we explored the theme of ‘My Happy Place’ this year. The theme was intentionally left open to interpretation, allowing contributors to explore their own personal sources of joy. The results have been nothing short of extraordinary, with an outpouring of creativity and unique perspectives that have truly amazed us.

This anthology aims to inspire mindful reflection on the diverse aspects that bring happiness into our lives. From heartfelt poems and introspective journal entries to captivating short stories and even a thought-provoking monologue, the submissions showcase a mix of different writing styles that will leave you enthralled.

Throughout the entire process, this project has been a collaborative endeavour. It has been published amidst numerous changes to the studio, and I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved. Your support and valuable contributions have been instrumental in making this collection a reality.
