Words for Wellbeing: Creative Clarity
24 November @ 10:30 - 12:30
About this Event
We know that working creatively and therapeutically with words can bring a wealth of benefits. In this 3-part sequence, taking place as we move towards a new year, we will explore the ways in which writing for wellbeing can support us to find focus, clarity and direction as we uncover our personal path through change and challenge.
Working in a gentle and supportive small group context, we will make space to relax and reflect together and to nourish creativity. A range of poems, quotes and visual images will be offered as imaginative openings and starting points for self-discovery. We will use prompts and journaling techniques as routes into a greater sense of perspective, connecting to our ‘inner-compass’, envisioning new possibilities and clarifying future goals.
Throughout this course, you will…
- Enhance creativity and discover new possibilities
- Relax and enjoy a space for reflection and self-discovery
- Work towards a greater sense of perspective and clarity
- Explore personal hopes and dreams
- Find a sense of focus and set authentic and meaningful goals for the future
