The Only Way is Indie
12 February, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 6:30 pm
After the success of the inaugural ‘The Only Way is Indie’ event, held at Nottingham Writers’ Studio in February 2016 and organized by local publishers Dr Teika Bellamy of Mother’s Milk Books and Sara-Jayne Slack of Inspired Quill, another TOWII event is happening. And thanks to all the useful feedback we got about the 2016 event this time it’ll be even better and bigger! ‘The Only Way is Indie 2017’ will be an excellent opportunity for writers and readers to meet with book and literary magazine publishers, to chat with editors and to better understand the indie publishing scene.

As we are delivering more content for the 2017 event we have to (unfortunately) charge for attendance. All of the publishers are giving of their time for free, so the fees will help to cover the travel costs of the publishers, room hire etc. We are grateful to Nottingham Writers’ Studio for being such supportive hosts. Please note that the number of publishers at the event may well increase… (we are still waiting to hear back from some about their availability).
Price: £22 concessions, £26 NWS members, £30 non-NWS members. Please book using the Paypal button below. Once payment has been made, you’ll receive a receipt via email, which we ask you to accept as confirmation of booking.
