Rhyme and Rebellion: Breaking the rules of poetry
Join poet and performer Leanne Moden for a workshop based on constrained writing, using
unusual exercises to ignite your inspiration! Designed to take your work in new directions and
alleviate even the most stubborn of writers’ block, this workshop explores form, function, rules
and rule-breaking as ways to revitalise your poetry. Learn about a range of bizarre word games
that will help you generate new writing, edit existing pieces and expand your creative vocabulary
too! Use #rhymeandrebellion to keep up with the conversation on Twitter.
Suitable for ages: 16+
