6 July @ 10:30 - 12:30

About this Event
‘Everything we know about creating, we know intuitively from the natural world…by following the patterns of the earth’s creative energy, we can understand our own personal creative energy.’ Welling
In this 2-part ‘Words for Wellbeing’ course, participants will explore the healing potential, inspiration, and wisdom found in nature, and work experientially to uncover how the natural world can mirror and enhance our creative and personal growth.
Working with images, poems, quotes, and our own generated writing, we will find a space to express ourselves, harness the imagination through our writing, and reflect within a supportive group.
We will combine our exploration of the different elements of nature with some key therapeutic writing techniques focussed on enhancing self-awareness and resilience.
Throughout this 2-part workshop, you will…
- Experience the ways in which the natural world can enhance creativity and be fuel for the imagination
- Consider our connection to nature and how this can support our wellbeing
- Tap into the potential for increased self-connection through writing, reading, and reflection.
