Mastering Short Story Writing with Megan Taylor
15 February @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Mastering Short Stories
Crafting a good short story is an art form. To create a world and characters which we visit ever so briefly yet leave an impact on the reader involves both craft and skill. Megan Taylor is one of Nottingham’s most prolific and successful short story writers and an experienced workshop facilitator. Join us for a 2-hour workshop on mastering short story writing and developing your existing skills. Megan is offering a special discounted rate for this workshop as part of NWS’s current funding drive and crowdfunding efforts (please see our homepage for more details). So we’re able to offer spots for £15pp (or £10 NWS members and students). Don’t miss this fabulous opportunity to learn from one of the East Midland’s most successful short story writers.
Megan Taylor is the author of three novels, ‘How We Were Lost’, ‘The Dawning’ and ‘The Lives of Ghosts’ and a short story collection, ‘The Woman Under the Ground’. She has been running creative writing workshops for over six years. She has had numerous stories published in literary journals and has won and placed highly in several writing competitions.
