In Conversation with NWS Members: Exploring Writing for Wellbeing
6 November @ 11:00 - 11:45
About this event
Join NWS for another instalment of their popular member-led talks. This month we welcome Words for Wellbeing coach, Samantha Gray.
Sam joins us for a talk where she’ll be exploring writing for wellbeing – its history, the therapeutic potential for personal development and resilience, and the different elements that feature in a ‘Words for Wellbeing’ session.
Sam will touch on her own journey in this field, including the work she’s done in different areas of the community. Participants will have a chance to experience some fundamental techniques – the best way to gain insight into therapeutic writing is to do some! Sam will blend talk with some gentle opportunities to use reflective and creative writing techniques.
