How to get your poetry published
4 May @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
As part of the Nottingham Poetry Festival, publisher Teika Bellamy will help writers demystify the process of poetry publishing and share insider information so that writers can create a plan to achieve the publishing success they want.
Throughout this workshop you will acquire a better understanding of the publishing world – and the poetry publishing world that sits within it. Participants will reflect on what ‘success’ means to the individual writer and how to plan for achieving that success.
Dr Teika Bellamy is the award-winning managing editor of Nottingham-based independent press, Mother’s Milk Books. An artist and writer herself, her poetry, short fiction and art have appeared in various places including Mslexia, Brittle Star, Strix, LossLit, Shoreline of Infinity, Reckoning, JUNO and The Poetry Shed (published under the pen-name Marija Smits).
