16 January @ 18:30 - 20:30
About this Event
Shreya’s Creative Non-fiction course will look at different types of creative non-fiction writing. You’ll explore what is essential to producing each including, style, substance, how to make them reader-friendly without losing your unique voice, and how to get your writing published!
Throughout the four sessions, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of how to write in the style of the most popular creative non-fiction genres including, memoir, travelogue, Op-Ed, reviews and more. You will explore how this type of writing differs from both fiction and reportage and you’ll get plenty of opportunity for writing practice, tutor and peer feedback.
You’ll work towards perfecting one piece of writing ready to send out to the world and be provided with useful tips and tricks on how to approach both the media and publishers at the end of the course.
