Free your Imagination during Lockdown: Children’s writing workshop

20 June @ 14:00 - 16:00

About this Event

Bring your young writers along to an online writing workshop this June!

About this Event

“Free your Imagination during Lockdown” is a series of practical activities and discussion that aims to get your children (aged 7-12-years old) to delve into their memory to capture what life was like before lockdown, acknowledge the present moment by exploring their life during lockdown and then, with a hopeful heart, imagine the life that they want after it ends.

The main aim of the session is to have fun, play with words, learn some writing techniques, and contribute to a small piece of writing.

All proceeds raised through ticket sales will be donated to:

How to access the workshop

This workshop will be delivered online via Zoom. Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service you can use to virtually meet with others – either by video or audio-only or both. A user manual containing access instructions and a link will be sent out to you before the workshop. You will need an internet connection, and a computer with either a built-in camera or webcam, and a built-in microphone/speaker.
