Nottingham Writers’ Studio members benefit from exclusive weekend access to our delightful studio space in the heart of Nottingham; we call this Dedicated Writing Time, but you can use the studio for co-working and socialising too!

Dedicated Writing Time runs from Friday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm. During this time, you are able to use the studio at 25 Hockley as your home away from home while working on your latest words.

In order to benefit from this part of your membership, you will need to be inducted to the space. Please email us at admin@nottinghamwritersstudio.co.uk with ‘STUDIO INDUCTION’ in the subject line, and we will help arrange this for you.


And now the small print… 

Dedicated Writing Time is available on weekends only as the studio will remain in use during the week for events, classes, and workshops.

If you’d like to co-work outside of these core hours, we recommended that you contact The Carousel directly about their co-working packages.

Access details will be provided as part of an induction in person with either a staff member of NWS or the Carousel team.

On the rare occasion that your planned weekend trip to the studio clashes with an external booking/event, we will arrange for you to work in the Carousel’s co-working space instead at no extra cost to yourself. Please keep an eye on our events calendar and let us know if this is needed! 

Access to the space includes free WiFi plus tea & coffee making facilities.
