Michael Cook Wins First Light Award

Last year Michael Cook worked with a group of children at Heymann Primary School in West Bridgford to produce a short film, It's Not the Dinners, which came top in its category in the First Light Awards, 'so we are now officially the Best Film Made By Under 12s!', he says.
The film will be shown nationally in selected cinemas during Film Education week.
'Fifteen of us went down to receive the awards at Odeon Leicester Square, followed by an after-show at Planet Hollywood. The kids thought it was brilliant. We were all extremely proud of what they have achieved. Thinking now about one for this year!'
